The Good Life Isn’t Good Enough- 2 Corinthians 5:15

Are you living the life you want to live? Yes? Good for you! Are you living the life God wants you to live? Sometimes I feel unsure! Life’s all peachy keen in Sarah’s la la land, but the good life isn’t good enough. I’m not referring to a ‘more is more’ in a ‘me me me’ world. I’m talking about the depth of our human purpose on this Earth. Work, play, pray, sleep does not make the world go round, but I know someone who does… the man upstairs. We can live a good life on our own, but we need Jesus to live a life of eternal abundance, because the good life ends when we do.

“Jesus included everyone in His death so that everyone could also be included in His life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people have ever lived on their own.” – 2 Corinthians 5:15

Easter Sunday was a precious reminder that Jesus’ death on the cross was for all of us and He¬†unlocked the ability for us to partake in the resurrection life that He intended for mankind. We have to keep our eyes centered on Him, our ears constantly listening for direction, and our hearts open to change. Sometimes the good option isn’t the best option and the only way we can discern the difference is by staying connected to the God who created our purpose!

In 5 weeks I’ll be on a girls trip in Mexico and I’m already dreaming of fruity drinks, the smell of sunscreen (lots of it), and reading books from a cabana! While my heart (& closet) desires to own this poolside ensemble, I was playing dress up at Nordstrom South Coast Plaza for a festival inspired Instagram shoot. Wearing bathing suit tops in real life is a thing. Don’t believe me? Watch this Nordstrom video here. I bought 2 bikinis for Mexico that I plan to wear with my high-waisted bottoms and strappy sandals to recreate this look! Also, I’ll be THAT GIRL who will be wearing accessories to the beach besides a wide brim hat and sunnies. Yes, jewelry and all!

Have a blessed week!
