Buckle up, seats up straight, and all electronic devices on airplane mode because… I am flying to NEW YORK CITY today! It’s a girls trip with my bestie from work, Marisa and we are flying to the Big Apple and crashing with my high school BFF’s Brooke (the gal home from Australia) and Kellie (the gal home from Paris). They found the sweetest apartment in East Village, and we are ready to face snow blizzards and freezing temperatures. At least, we are as ready as we will ever be.
While I have been shopping for cold weather clothes for my trip, I also have become completely obsessed with The Hidden Jewel Boutique in Costa Mesa known for their California beach girl style. I have both SOHO and BOHO on the brain. This boutique is walking distance from my apartment, not even a block away, and I am constantly checking in to check out their latest trends. I am dying over each and every one of these pieces from this look. Finding the perfect boyfriend jeans is near to impossible, but this pair of One Teaspoon distressed denim carried at Hidden Jewel is a game changer. And the ankle zipper detail…. I CAN’T! The fit, look, and price is difficult to beat. It’s hard for me to get excited about a simple black tee-shirt, but this v-neck by Still Water was everything that a basic needs to be- comfortable, stylish, and not sheer. I want this top in every color imaginable. Lastly, this black and white striped jacket is cozy, cropped, and constantly on my mind. This style jacket is perfect for petite girls such as myself because its boxy without being overwhelming.
More to come next week from The Hidden Jewel!

You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.
The Hidden Jewel Boutique is a gem of a clothing store worthy of sharing and so is the news that the Lord is my hiding place. God is far from hidden, but we can rest in him alone when we are fearful, in doubt, or in need of comfort. His Holy Spirit encourages us and fills us up while God fully surrounds us. When the world gets us down, we should seek alone time with Jesus as a safe place where he can give us strength.
Have a blessed week!
