Pop of Plaid- Exodus 20:18

Mixing prints is one of my favorite year round trends. For the spring, I am notorious for pairing stripes and florals together, but for this winter look, I combined plaid and leopard print. In order to not go overload with the bold textures, I let the accessories do the talking, and kept the outfit essentials to all black. Black denim, black chiffon blouse, black leather jacket, and black beanie. I am still on the hunt for the perfect black and white plaid blanket scarf for this season. The infinity scarf can be limiting with the different ways to wear it, but it does make getting dressed a little bit more simplistic! My scarf drawer is about to explode, but I am a sucker for this cold weather essential. With the rain on its way, I am sure I’ll get plenty of use of my selection!

All the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance.
Exodus 20:18
As a little girl I was always scared of thunder, and nothing has changed! I still tremble at the sound of thunder and the sight of lightening, not because I am scared I’ll be struck, but because of the great force it creates! God creates this powerful energy, and it is a true reminder of His almighty abilities. This week has been overcast with all signs pointing to rain, but so far, it’s all blown by! Bring on the rain, God, I can handle it!
Have a blessed week!
