Eat Chow- 1 Corinthians 10:24

When one of your best friends comes home from living in Australia for 10 months, it’s time to BRUNCH! At first I was sad that Brooke was coming home, solely because I didn’t get an opportunity to visit her while she was living life in the Outback. However, catching up at our girl’s night sleepover feels like no time has passed at all, yet all these new memories have been made. When you have had friends for 10 plus years, reality of adulthood hits you hard when everyone moves to new cities, states, and countries, and you only get to see people a couple times a year, and the years start flying by! EEK! And I haven’t even hit my quarter life crisis yet!
My suede obsession continues this week and I have no plans to stop obsessing. This Mural jacket from Nordstrom is absolutely my favorite jacket. I don’t like to play favorites, but I consider blazers and coats to be in different outwear families, so it’s not so excluding. The blush suede is so unique and matches just about everything I own, so it’s my go-to, throw on over anything jacket. Also, the braided detail in the back adds just the surprise flare every ensemble needs. I mentioned a few weeks back my struggle with making outfits out of my denim wardrobe, but black denim seems to be more natural for me! For fall, I tend to play with neutral palates, so this black and white tee from Zara allows me to throw some print in the outfit. It’s a pop of print instead of a pop of color!

Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor.
1 Corinthians 10:24
I did something new yesterday! I live across the street from a small park, so I took my bible study homework, sat under a tree, left my phone inside and had time with God outside. My friends were really on my heart this week after brunching and catching up, and I felt the urge to lift them up in prayer before focusing on the needs of my own. No matter where my friends live, they will always be considered my neighbor and I love them so so much!
Have a blessed week!
