The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the biggest sale of the year in the Nordstrom world. It’s one of the most fun, most challenging, most rewarding, and most time consuming events we put on. I love seeing all of my favorite customers (who have become my family and friends) in a short period of time. It just makes work not feel like work. This sale is trumps all sales in the industry because Nordstrom starts selling fall merchandise at a discounted price in July. WHO DOESN’T LOVE A SALE?!
Yesterday I worked with our store’s social media mogul, Brittany Leland, to help take some snapshots for the Nordstrom Mission Viejo Instagram account of our favorite pieces from the sale. The Topshop coat selection is on point with everything from lightweight trenches featured here to heavier wool coats great for travel outside of Southern California. Also, I am drooling over these Rag and Bone boyfriend jeans. For this look, I tried a more masculine meets feminine vibe, so I wore a white button up by Topshop, also on sale, with a bordeaux colored Rebecca Minkoff cross-body bag. Stacking the wrist full of bracelets and a watch is still going to be on trend for this season. These lovely dainty pieces were Nadri and Skagen. If you haven’t shopped the sale through Early Access, the Public Event goes live Friday, July 17th!

“A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.”
Have you heard the phrase, “If Satan can’t make you bad, he will make you busy?” I have definitely been feeling this over the past few weeks. I have busied myself up with work which means I have not made time for God. Usually I can read my bible on a lunch break, or before I go to bed, but my life has consisted of waking up, working, and going to bed. No matter how tired I am, I know that I need to make the Lord my first priority so that I can feel renewed and refreshed each day!
Have a blessed week!
