Los Angeles is a mysterious and fascinating place! Just as you think you have seen all the cool parts of the city, you discover a new nook and cranny. One of my best friends, Erin, has lived in LA for two years now, and she has THE best recommendations for places to go, people to see, restaurants to eat, and spots to shop! Erin works down the street from Larchmont Village and prior to meeting up with her for lunch, my sister and I explored this half block of major cuteness.
I don’t know about you, but it is finally starting to feel like summer and that is because I have already been sunburned twice. (Yes I was wearing SPH 100!) One of my favorite trends of this season is the matching crop top and skirt combination. While together, these two separate pieces may look like a dress, just imagine all the outfit potential of wearing them on their own! This black and white Painted Threads number comes from the BP department at Nordstrom. Don’t over think accessories. I paired this look with a chunky snake skin sandal (Pour la Victoire), bar necklace (BP), and cross-body bag ( Philip Lim for Target) for an easy breezy ensemble!
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
It is way to easy to get settled and comfortable in one city or village. If Jesus had stayed only in a close radius to where he was born and raised, He wouldn’t have been able to spread the good news to a wide range of people. This doesn’t mean each of us needs to travel to foreign villages, while there are those who will be called to do so! However, you never know how you could make an impact on a town nearby. Always be open to seeking new opportunities to proclaim the word of God!
Have a wonderful week!
