Donut Diaries: Dunkin’ Donuts Orange County

I just found out this morning that National Donut Day is quickly approaching! June 5th to be exact. Well to be frank, everyday is Donut Day in my (pink covered) book. What better way to celebrate on a random Monday morning than with a sister bonding trip at the new Dunkin’ Donuts Orange County by my parents house? I just tried DD for the first time a few weeks back when I was in Arizona and have drooled over all the Dunkins’ on the East Coast, but I am so beyond over-the-top excited with a cherry on top that this famous American Donuttery has made its way to Southern California. My first purchase was a classic pink sprinkle donut, a Oreo cheesecake filled donut, and a small Dunkaccino.
A few weeks back, I purchased my newest Donut T-Shirt from ILY Couture. This online retailer has my style written all over it and is my new go-to for all of my graphic tee needs. This past Monday was particularly warm, so I paired the donut tee with my pleated leather skirt by ASTR that I found at Nordstrom a couple months prior. To complete the look, I wore my crisp white Target Birkenstocks. If I am being honest, it took me a long time to hop on the Birkenstock bandwagon, however, for a trend such as this, I decided finding an inexpensive pair would do the trick!

“America Runs on Dunkin'”

Hebrews 12:1-2

While America (including myself) runs on Dunkin’, I have another source of energy, persistence, and strength and his name is good ol’ Jesus! Our whole life is a race, and with the finish line of Heaven in mind, this distance is way more bearable with guidance from a helping hand. When our eyes are fixed on the Lord, we can do all things through Christ. (And a little Dunkaccino never hurt anyone!)
