Nordstrom Last Chance- Matthew 18:21-22

I have a secret to reveal. The real reason for my camping trip two weekends ago was to find an excuse to road trip to Nordstrom Last Chance in Phoenix, Arizona. Nordstrom Last Chance is a final-clearance store for returned and overstocked merchandise from Nordstrom stores, Nordstrom Rack and I love a good deal, but I am not a bargain shopper. Mostly because I am simply not gifted with the rack digging, coupon finding, fight the crowds talent. This trip was an exception! I found two pairs of shoes for a total of $45. Last Chance was fairly sized, organized, and easy to shop, but I think that this was a great one hit wonder for myself! I don’t see myself heading back anytime soon, but I still loved the experience.

For any shopping trip, I always want to dress uber comfortable! Who knows how many times you will end up in the fitting room, or pulling off your shoes over and over again to try things on? Also, Arizona had the perfect spring time temperature, so I needed some lightweight options. I decided to go with my navy striped curved hem nautical v-neck tee (Leith at Nordstrom) paired with my white cuffed denim (AG). I am totally obsessed with my latest brown suede sandal, the Myzer Ankle Cuff, by Vince Camuto and dainty gold jewelry. Dressing down is hard for me since I love to dress up for work everyday, but I now look forward to days off to pick out the perfect casual outfit!

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.”

Matthew 18:21-22
There are no last chances when it comes to forgiveness according to our savior! It can be really difficult to continue giving that person who does wrong against you a second, third, or one hundredth chance. However,  because Jesus will forgive an infinite amount of times, we are called to do the same! Our goal as Christians is to be Christ-like right? I know that a weight is lifted off my chest when I forgive somebody because holding a grudge is the worst feeling! You don’t have to continue putting up with negative behavior, but you do have to forgive!

Have a forgiving week!
