Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile

Getting dressed every morning can be extremely stressful, but once that outfit is settled, I can look in the mirror, smile, and head out the door! This past week, I got my last two wisdom teeth pulled which I would have assumed would hinder my ability to grin ear to ear. With a quick prayer, the procedure was quick and painless and I was smiling again in no time. Prior to my trip to the dentist, I explored The Camp in Costa Mesa for the first time and I am obsessed with this cluster of restaurants and boutiques.
My days off from work call for a casual, yet chic look, so I threw on my new navy and green flannel from Nordstrom and gray Citizen of Humanity skinny jeans. I was on the hunt for this blue and green color combo for months and was thrilled when I found just what I was looking for. Because I am newly infatuated with the color navy, and I was in the market for a new work handbag, it was a clear decision to buy the Medium MAB Tote by Rebecca Minkoff. Funny how a handbag can make a girl smile, but I am not going to question the reality of how I feel carrying a new purse.

Strength and dignity are her clothing, And she smiles at the future.
Proverbs 31:25
While fashion always finds a way to make me happy, I do feel that a woman is never fully dressed without her strength, dignity, and a smile. The joy that I feel day in and day out doesn’t come from the material possessions in my closet, but from the confidence in what Jesus provides in my life. Being a Proverbs 31 woman is a goal I will always continue to strive for, and this verse tugs at my heart. I can honestly say that I can smile at my future!
Have a smiling week!
