I owe a lot to the year 2014. Memories, milestones, and magic filled the 365 days more than I ever pictured every happening. Luckily, my OCD forced me to photograph each one of these moments so that as I won’t forget all that I have been blessed with. While any given day should be a reason to dress up, New Year’s Eve is the occasions of all occasions. I find wearing sparkle okay year round, but New Year’s is a perfect reason for extra pizazz, shimmer, and shine. Shopping early for special events such as this has become a habit of mine because I find myself to panic and suck the fun out of a holiday if I don’t love what I am wearing. I am pretty sure I bought this Topshop dress back in September! This fitted, asymmetrical hemmed number had just the right amount of glitz I was hoping for to wear to a New Year’s Party. Because the dress speaks for itself, I chose suede grey heels as a softer accent, but then added some extra bling in my jewelry. As for my beauty choices, the french braid up-do kept my hair off the top of the dress, and the berry lip added a pop of color!
God is able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within me.
At the end of 2013, I asked God how he was going to top the amazing year I had just experienced. 2014 blew my expectations out of the water, and I find myself asking God how 2015 can top this year! My biggest New Year’s goal is to focus loving God more everyday and seek His will above all else. In the new year, I look forward to moving out, turning 23, my first ever trip to Europe (I’M GOING TO PARIS!), and all the excitement God has planned that I don’t even know about yet. God is able to do immeasurably more. I’ll cheers to that!
Have a Happy New Year!
