Sarah and the City: Day 1

I literally can’t stay away from this place called New York City. Every time I leave NY, I think so myself,
“Ta Ta for Now.” Then a few short months later, I find myself on a plane right back to the city that holds my heart. This was an incredible weekend because I was able to travel with my three oldest best friends of 10 years. We stayed in an apartment in East Village, a segment of the city I wasn’t very familiar with, and holy cow did I love East Village! Being on the outer edge of Manhattan was a surreal experience. Between the restaurants and picturesque apartments, I was Heaven. The weather on day one was a crisp 76 degrees with the wind blowing just right! When we got off the train from the airport, it was time to ditch my Hinge sweater, and stick to my striped Topshop t-shirt and Zella Live-In Leggings, which turned out to be the perfect travel outfit of layers!

You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
Deuteronomy 28:3
It is so inspiring to know that no matter where I am in the world, God is ready to bless the places I’m in. God’s plan for our joy in life, is not determined by where we are, but how we carry ourselves in those locations. New York City is full of reminders of God’s presence, and I feel an indescribable peace when I am in the city!
Have a blessed week!
