Yes, I know New York Fashion Week was last week! And, yes, I will be in New York in October, which is not Fashion Week. But, no, this Central Park was not in the Big Apple, but practically in my own back yard. It really was called Central Park though… I hope I did not disappoint you! For this picnic, we packed your typical cheese and crackers, raspberries, grapes, apples, and red wine. While this 95 degree heat is making my heart ever so sad, the light against the trees is finally starting to look autumn. I knew I wanted to wear my Ace Delivery striped pencil skirt to contrast the checkered picnic blanket for a lovely afternoon, and the starch white Topshop blouse was a subtle balance. I accessorized with BP statement necklace, and Sole Society grey heels complete from Nordstrom!
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
When I picture my ideal self, I would love to think that I act gracious and speak graciously 100% of the time. However, I know that this is far from the truth, but showing grace is an area of my character I am constantly trying to be better at. When I read this verse, I feel at peace because I know God’s grace heals us everyday. The more grace we show to each other, the more Christlike we become!
Have a gracious week!
