When my Disneyland pass is blocked out for summer, I sometimes feel as though I am in Purgatory. I cannot express my childlike excitement enough that I am able to walk through the gates to the magic kingdom. Obviously this kingdom doesn’t even compare to Heaven, but you know what I mean. I truly believe the advertisement that this is the ‘happiest place on Earth.’ How could I not be obsessed with pretending to be a princess in Fantasyland and eating a Mickey Mouse ice-cream sandwich? I will confess that I always struggle finding an outfit for Disneyland that is comfortable, practical, yet stylish. My black skater skirt, red camisole, and Mickey sweatshirt came together as a last minute ensemble topped off with my ears!
It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.
For nothing is impossible with God.
Disneyland is a place where dreams come true. Walt Disney is so iconic to the entertainment industry and his visions have shaped lives all over the world. I am not sure what Walt Disney’s relationship with Jesus was like, however, I admire his belief that nothing is impossible. God is the creator of the universe and the performs miracles that seem impossible. Dream big and keeps your hopes high, for nothing is impossible with our awesome God.
Have a magical week!
