When flowers are blooming and birds are chirping, the serenity of springtime becomes a lifestyle. As I am making a royal attempt to read the Bible cover to cover, and Genesis being my first and only successful completed book thus far (I am aware this is the first book of the Bible… #Fail), I am inspired to learn about the Garden of Eden and God’s vision for mankind. I spent last Thursday at Roger’s Gardens in Newport Beach soaking in the sunshine and listening to the trickling of their waterfalls. The backdrop of violet wildflowers was a perfect monochromatic match to my purple pleated midi-skirt, white leather crop-top, and chocolate wedge sandals.
And the Lord God had planted a paradise of pleasure from the beginning: wherein he placed man whom he had formed.
The Garden of Eden was intended to be a place of peace, where man kind could develop and flourish in paradise. Spring is the season of growth and the beginning cycle to the circle of life and Roger’s Gardens is a beautiful location to witness God’s creation. People from all over Orange County come here to purchase flowers and plants with intentions to cultivate their property and enhance the natural beauty of their homes. Even with all the beauty that Roger’s Gardens possesses, I could only imagine the paradise of Eden before mankind had the ability to influence it with human imperfection.
