Oh, the movies. A pastime for dreamers and the perfect romantic date spot for two sweethearts. I have been quite fortunate to enjoy old Hollywood’s best-of-the-best cinema experiences at iconic venues such as El Capitan, The Chinese Grauman Theater, and Westwood Village. However in my 21 years, I have never seen a more dreamy, retro theater as the flamingo pink Regency Lido in Newport Beach. With the Academy Awards just around the corner, I have been on a whirlwind bender with my Sour Patch Kids, viewing all 9 movies nominated for Best Picture in the past two weeks. Nothing sounds more perfect to me than to spend Valentine’s Day seeing the final Best-Picture nominee with my boyfriend. Picking out an outfit for V-Day has been no stress since my wardrobe is filled with all things feminine and rose-colored. I recommend a flirty maroon leather skirt and a pearl detailed blouse with sassy peep-toed booties.
We love each other because He loved us first. 1 John 4:19
Valentine’s Day is just one day of the year that we should be celebrating the beauty of love. Love for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Love for your family and friends. Love for the person in your life that makes you feel like you have stepped into your favorite Hollywood love story. It is truly because God loved us in Heaven that we are able to give and receive love to those here on Earth.
Have a lovely week! xoxo
